About the role
At Creditbook, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. Who will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. Responsibilities
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ - Deploying updates and fixes
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Working collaboratively across team boundaries to share common capabilities
- Providing Level 2 technical support
- Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Performing root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigating and resolving technical issues
- Developing scripts to automate visualization
- Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering
- Prior experience of at least 1 year as a DevOps Engineer
- Good knowledge of NodeJs, AWS, K8s, Linux and System Engineering
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Expert in Javascript paradigms
- Experience in Native mobile app development.
