We are looking for experienced Sr. DevSecOps Engineers to join our team! You will work closely with our application developers and architects to build, automate, and support our application infrastructure and deployment processes as Beacon AI builds out the future of aviation. As a key member of the Beacon AI team, your main focus will be on increasing the velocity of development, speed of data acquisition, and the delivery of automated solutions while minimizing downtime and increasing stability across our platform. What you’ll do:

• Own the DevSecOps cycle at Beacon AI, including data, cloud, and application security, IoT Device Provisioning, build process automation, and code deployment
• Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to protect against threats to web applications and cloud infrastructure
• This individual will analyze business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
• Lead continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Deployment and maintenance of the codebase
• Maintain monitoring of environments, generate and analyze metrics, develop standard reports and dashboards (experience with a tool like Grafana preferred)
• Create tooling that automates and simplifies the resolution of and investigation of production issues.
• Deploy log management solutions
• Solve complex problems in cloud services infrastructure as they relate to build automation

What will make you successful:

• Experience with Public Cloud Platforms - Architecture and Deployment (AWS, Azure) configuration and administration of security features & services
• In-depth understanding of cloud security and networking concepts
• CISM, CISSP or other Security Certifications and InfoSec Standards (CIS, NIST, etc.)
• Knowledge of HIPPA, GDPR, and other related data standards
• Experience with implementing WAFs, Botnet protection, and OWASP top 10 best practices
• Hands-on experience with microservice architectures and cloud-native technologies
• Experience working with serverless technologies
• Ability to meaningfully participate in code reviews and provide security guidance to software development teams.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
• Knowledge of application development, cloud, and network security methodologies
• Strong experience in Application Development, DevOps, Agile Methodology
• Familiarity with product lines such as Circle CI, Veracode, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet
• Excellent written and verbal skills with public speaking ability
• Proficiency in agile methodologies
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling and automation including Circle CI, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub, Artifactory or similar
• Experience running deployment automation/configuration management systems at scale -- e.g, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or others
